November 1st, 1839 Session met at the residence of Mr. Edwin Whitman, who was sick. Opened with prayer, on examination Mr. Whitman was received into the church. Mrs. Mildred Slaughter was dismissed by her request to join the Charlottesville Church Virginia. Closed with prayer. Wm. A. Shaw Clk Nov 3rd Mr. Whitman was baptized. Mrs. Angelica Whitman was admitted by certificate to our communion from the Third Congregational Church Portland, Me. Decr. 15, 1839 Sabbath session met and was opened with prayer. Present Wm. A. Shaw, Modr. And Elder John McKeage. Miss Sarah P. Keller was received on examination and admitted to communion of the Presbyterian Church having received baptism in infancy. Communion season 2nd Sabbath March. Wm. A. Shaw Modr.
May 12th, 1840 At a prayer meeting at Jas B. Reynold’s, Alvin Garnett, infant son of Geo & Sarah Patterson was baptized. May 14th, 1840 Certificates of dismission were given to Col Geo Patterson & Sarah his wife at their request to join any church when Providence might their lot. Oct 1840 Revd. Wm. A. Shaw _______ as stated supply and Revd. A.W. Kilpatrick was directed to labour at pleasure in this church until the meeting of Presbytery in March next. Mrs. Sarah Brunson wife of Dr. R. Brunson departed this life on the Feby 1841. Examined and approved thus far J. R. Bains Modr. Presbytery March 27th, 1841
