Friday March 11, 1842 A protracted meeting commenced. ---Ministers present Revd. A.H. Kerr & Wm. D. Jones of Hopkinsville, Ky. And on Sabbath Revd. N.H. Hall of Lexington, Ky. arrived. Meeting continued until Tuesday 22nd embracing two sabbaths on each of which days the sacrament was administered. Session was constituted on Saturday 12th __________ ____________ during the meeting. The following persons were received into membership during the meeting on examination E.G. Howard, Eliza Stewart, Josaphine B. Simpson, Wm. Christian all of whom were baptized & also Miss Lucy C. Bailey, Saml. Simpson, Leland Henderson, Dr. C. R. Cooper, Wm. Burkholder, John Roberts, ___Major Chas. Bailey, Hugh Evans, Jas F. Walsh, & Sarah his wife having been baptized in infancy, Mr. F.A. Jones, & Mrs. Elizabeth B. Barbour were received on certificate from the church of Henderson, Ky. Wm. B. Winford Clk Apl 6th, 1842 Session met and was constituted in prayer by Modr. Revd. A.H. Kerr, Elders present Jas B. Reynolds & Wm. B. Winford. Revd. A.H. Kerr has visited most of the families of the P.B. church in the past month and found them in a pleasant state of religious feeling and anxious receive religious instruction. Elder Winford has visited some of the members and was pleased to find them in the enjoyment of religion. Elder Jas B. Reynolds was chosen Cowr. to Nashville presbytery to meet at Murfreesboro Friday before 3rd Sabbath Instr. Apl. 10th Sabbath morning --- The following children were baptized by Revd. A.H. Kerr, Mathias Kelsey van Dyke Infant son of Dr. M. & Mrs. Rowly, Henry & Alfred Infant sons of Saul & Josaphine B. Simpson, John Dicks and Mary Elizabeth children of Mrs. Mary Vance, Rachel Charlote infant daughter of Dr. C. R. & Mary Cooper. Wm. B. Winford Clk
