Decr. 4th, 1841 At a meeting of the church, this evening public notice having been previously given the following Brethren were unanimously chosen Elders. Wm. B. Winford & Jas B. Reynolds, Wm. S. Walker & Wm. Stewart Deacons. All of whom having signified their acceptance of the offices confirm were solemnly ordained in accordance with directions of our form of government. Jno McKeage Clk Decr. 27th, 1841 Session met and was constituted with prayer by Modr. Revd. A.H. Kerr. Elders present J. B. Reynolds, Jno McKeage, W. B. Winford. The following persons were received into the church Franklin Watts by examination (baptized), Martha Ann Saunders by examination, Ann Eliza Liggon, and Wm. S. Garvin by letter. Jno McKeage Clk Feby 7th, 1842 Session met and was constituted with prayer by Modr. Revd. A.H. Kerr. Present Wm. B. Winford and Jas B. Reynolds Elders. Session directed the subscription of the Pastor’s salary to be placed in the hands of the Deacons and that they be directed to collect one fourth of the ____ and pay over the same to A.H. Kerr Pastor. 2. Session agreed that they would individually visit at least one family of this congregation each week unless unaccountably prevented.
